Taiwan Leads The Way

I was motivated to do a (very) short Saturday Post after discovering a fabulous initiative in operation in Taiwan.

Cyclist are welcomed in all Police Stations in Taiwan.

Further, each Police Station provides track pumps, toilets and water bottle refills for cyclists.

What a sensational idea and what a brilliant way to support and promote the growing cyclotourism and cyclepacking industry in Taiwan.

I suspect the relationship between cyclists and Police is also very positive and both will have a much better-informed understanding of the challenges that face each other.

Reportedly, the roads are wide and bike friendly too.

Time for other States, Counties, Regions and Countries to follow suit.
